Hyatt says carwash for cancer a success

Hyatt marketing communications assistant manager Luis Villagomez said hotel employees  took turns in the campaign held in the hotel parking lot from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 26.

“It was a success and we were very happy for the support we got from the community and the hotel employees,” Villagomez said. Each carwash cost $5.

The hotel employees also donated items for the yard sale conducted on the same day for the same purpose.

Villagomez did not disclose how much they raised from Saturday’s event, but he added they have more fundraising activities to conduct before the march.

The Hyatt has been supporting the MMAC for the past years by joining as a team and helping raise funds as well as supporting related activities and programs.

“We thank the community for their unending support, and we continue to seek your support for our upcoming activities for MMAC,” Villagomez said.
