They dominated 10-7, outrunning the Kagman Lions in the final three innings. The Bank of Saipan Red Sox took an early 3-0 lead at the top of the first, scoring runs from Jhace Palacios, Alex Mongkeya, and Jonathan Cabrera.
The Lions made three consecutive outs to end the bottom of the frame. Left fielder Derek Naog walked at the bottom of the second and stole to second base before being sent home by a sacrifice bat from Cataling Dela Cruz. Second baseman Malcolm Aaron drew the third out, leaving the Lions two runs behind.
Palacios walked and reached the second base via wild pitch before returning home for his second run at the top of the third. Joe Seo struck out, but the Red Sox fought back with an RBI single from Jonathan, who sent Jerald Cabrera home. Joe Kileleman also walked, pushing Jonathan to home plate.
The Lions thrived on multiple errors from their foes by the bottom of the third, earning three runs from Justin Santos, Cedric Hola, Jireh Yobech.
The Red Sox led, 8-6 by the bottom of the fourth and finished off with two runs at the sixth. Palacios allowed six runs and two hits and walked three before switching out with Mongkeya. Jonathan went 2-for-4 with two runs.
