An eye-opener of a documentary

“Now I know why we need to really get serious in segregating our trash, and to start avoiding the use of plastics because of the dangers that they pose to the environment,” Ngirbabul told the Variety.

Grace Belena, another senior student at MHS, said the documentary was a big eye-opener. “I wished everybody saw the film. It clearly depicts the future damage done by today’s population. We are too busy destroying our world today to think about the dangers of tomorrow,” she said.

“Addicted to Plastic” is this month’s First Friday Film, a joint project of the Division of Environmental Quality and the National Park Service.
