Manglona also required Roland Agustin to issue a $1,800 unsecured or appearance bond, to not consume any alcoholic beverages, and to observe daily curfew from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Assistant Attorney General Tiberius Mocanu represented the government, while Assistant Public Defender Adam Miles served as counsel for Agustin during the defendant’s initial court appearance and bail hearing.
Detective Melissa Bauleong said police were dispatched to the former J&G Water Company barracks in Garapan on March 8 at about 3:15 a.m.
Bauleong said Agustin, who was drunk at that time, was reported to be causing a disturbance at his wife’s residence.
Police learned that Agustin tried to talk to his wife, but their daughter refused to wake her up because of the time.
Agustin got angry and left, but returned an hour later, this time yelling and demanding to speak to his wife, police said.
Agustin’s yelling woke up his wife who told her husband to leave.
This further angered Agustin who then told his wife and daughter that if they did not open the door, he would break it, police said.
Responding patrol officers sought assistance from other officers to subdue Agustin who resisted arrest.
Agustin told Patrol Officer Norbert Mettao that he would look for him and kill him, Bauleong said.
