The new appointees who have to be confirmed by the Saipan and Northern Islands Legislative Delegation are Ursula L. Aldan and Vina Claire Saures.
SHEFA Chairman Jose C. Mafnas and board member Josephine T. Sablan were reappointed.
Mafnas is serving the unexpired term of former Chairwoman Felicidad T. Ogumoro that ends on March 11.
“I have full confidence that you are qualified and will be an asset to the board,” the appointment letter dated Feb. 6, 2011 reads.
Maggie Camacho, who completed the unfinished term of Max Olopai for two years, was not reappointed.
Another SHEFA board member, John K. Tenorio, will continue to serve until his term ends in March 2012.
Acting Mayor Ralph N. Yumul, Saipan and Northern Islands Municipal Council member, signed the appointment letter.
The appointees and reappointed members were asked to submit an original copy of their police clearance, personal financial statement, and receipt or other proof that they have tested for controlled substance.
“Please let me know how my office may assist you in completing the requirement listed,” the letter stated.
Rep. Ramon T. Tebuteb, chairman of the legislative delegation, and Public Auditor Mike Pai were provided copies of the appointment letter.
