McDonald’s Saipan: 18 on 18

McDonald’s Saipan marketing officer Ana Olaes said the store is proud to look back at its accomplishments and loyal clients can expect more improvements in the coming years.

To keep its employees updated on the latest developments with McDonald’s branches across the globe, Olaes said  they conduct regular training for all the employees here, especially those who have just been promoted or sent employees to Hawaii, Guam and to the mainland for various trainings.

McDonald’s Saipan’s general manager Marcia “Ruri” Ayuyu also goes on regular trainings abroad and re-echoes the latest techniques and developments to the employees when she returns.

She added that experts also come in frequently from the main McDonalds branches to train local employees on the operation and maintenance of food and beverage machines.

Anniversary Promo

For its 18th anniversary promotions, McDonald’s Saipan is offering special breakfasts, lunches and dinners at discounted prices.

For breakfast promotion from March 14 to 19, give in to the irresistible wake-up call of an Egg McMuffin, Sausage and Biscuit with Egg, Sausage, Egg, Cheese McGriddle Sandwich for $1.99 each, and Hotcake with Sausage for $2.99.

Don’t miss the lunch and dinner promo of grilled or crispy chicken snack wrap at $1.99, any flavor of medium iced coffee at $1.99 each, or purchased any large sandwich at a regular price (Big Mac, Quarter Pounder, Double Quarter Pounder, Premium Chicken Sandwiches, Angus Burger Sandwiches, Fish-o-Filet, and Southern Style Chicken Sandwich) and get a medium iced coffee at 99 cents only.

Olaes said that today and tomorrow, McDonald’s Saipan will be offering a discounted price of $3.99 for any kind of Happy Meal. Tomorrow, which is the final day of the weeklong promo, McDonald’s Saipan Middle Road branch will be giving away promotional t-shirts or tote bags for the first 100 customers who will purchase a minimum of $20.

Olaes said tomorrow, Herman’s Bakery will also be donating an anniversary cake and 100 cookies to distribute to the children.

“We invite the community to come and share this wonderful day with us as we welcome another milestone in the existence of McDonald’s on Saipan. We owe our presence here to your continuous support and loyalty,” Olaes said.

 New products

McDonald’s Saipan will not stop at where it is as it continues to come up with ways to serve new and better items to satisfy its loyal customers.

This month and the following months, diners at McDonald’s Saipan will be treated to newer items as the store continues its effort to please the diversified palates of its clients.

McCafe Shake

To add to its wide selection of beverage choices, McDonald’s Saipan will be repackaging the Triple Thick Shake into the irresistible McCafe Shake this month.

This latest repackaging of the Triple Thick Shake into the McCafe Shake will give McDonald’s diners the experience of pure bliss in sipping three classic milkshake flavors of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry.

“We are excited to introduce to our customers the repackaged McCafe Shake as our latest addition to the McDonald’s Saipan’s line of desserts,” Olaes said.

While the Triple Thick Shake came only in 16 oz and 21 oz cups, the McCafe Shake will be available in 12, 16 and 22 oz. cups.

McChicken sandwich

McDonald’s Saipan will also be adding more variety to its popular McChicken sandwich.

Packaged as McChicken Plus, this new variation of the McChicken sandwich comes with the regular toasted bun, breaded chicken breast meat patty, shredded lettuce, mayonnaise, and the newest addition — a choice of cheddar cheese, or jalapeno.

Frozen strawberry lemonade

In May, McDonald’s Saipan will be introducing another item to its line of refreshing beverages — the frozen strawberry lemonade, the perfect cold and icy thirst quencher in time for the hot summer. Olaes said that approval for distribution is already in and customers can wait in anticipation for this newest delight.

Asian salad

Beginning in May and until September this year, McDonald’s Saipan will re-introduce the popular McDonald’s Asian Salad which was introduced in the U.S. in 2006 but discontinued in 2008.

The Asian salad which is a colorful blend of different kinds of field greens, orange-glazed crispy or grilled chicken or no-chicken option for vegetarians, snow peas, and mandarin oranges will once again make its way into the plates of McDonald’s loyal customers for four months. Watch out for it!

Premium chicken

The month of May will also bring in a new variation to McDonald’s premium chicken. What used to be an elongated sandwich will be repackaged using a new bakery style buns made of whole grain, and a new taste for the chicken patties. This is indeed something to look forward to.

Olaes said McDonald’s Saipan would like to keep up to date with the latest food and beverage items served in other branches nationwide.

McDonald’s Saipan Garapan Express is open 24 hours daily while the Chalan Pale Arnold Middle Road Branch is open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.
