A coalition of National Honor Society presidents, known as the National Honor Society Alliance, is planning an “Autism Awareness Walkathon” to take place on April 2, which is Autism Awareness Day.
They are raising funds to help get vital information in the hands of teachers and parents as well as start a student outreach program in the CNMI.
Part of the NHS Alliance are Kagman High School’s Alexis Hofschneider, Saipan Southern High School’s Kaelani Demapan, Marianas High School’s Dowen Mae Jocson, Mount Carmel School’s Maria Balajadia, and Grace Christian Academy’s Lauren Hofschneider.
