2 men arrested for assaulting partners

Judge David A. Wiseman imposed a $20,000 cash bail on Milton Borja Camacho, 30, and a $10,000 cash bail on Donald Kileleman, 43, during their initial appearance and bail hearing on Thursday.

Camacho is being held on charges of interfering with a domestic call, assault and battery, and disturbing the peace.

Kileleman is being held on charges of disturbing the peace, and assault and battery.

Detective Peter Aldan said the incidents occurred on Monday night or early Tuesday.

Camacho got mad and assaulted his partner while she was about to leave their house in Chalan Kanoa, police said.

Prior to the assault, the victim asked permission to leave, but Camacho told her he could not walk out because he could not get up, police said.

Camacho grabbed the victim’s cellular phone when she tried to call the Department of Public Safety, police said.

An off-duty police officer, Edwin Aguon, saw Camacho dragging the victim back to their apartment from her vehicle, police added.

In the case involving Kileleman, police said he walked into the victim’s kitchen in Kagman III uninvited on Tuesday night.

Kileleman is the father of the victim’s three children.

Kileleman would come to the victim’s residence whenever he wanted to, police said.

When the victim told Kileleman to leave, the defendant attempted to punch the victim, police added.

The victim held onto Kileleman’s arm but she lost her balance and fell to the ground, police said.

Kileleman swung his arm at his victim who had a scratched and swollen cheek, police added.

The victim was not sure if it was Kileleman’s hand or his pouch he was holding that hurt her.

Assistant Attorney General Brian D. Gallagher represented the government while the court appointed Assistant Public Defender Adam Miles as counsel for Kileleman and Vincent Seman as counsel for Camacho.
