Robbery in As Teo

On Friday, Jan. 21, the 54-year-old business owner reported to police that he was robbed by the suspect. The suspect gave the victim a false name and address requesting to have water delivered to the fake address.

During the transaction, the suspect attacked the victim by strangling him.The victim loss consciousness and came to several minutes later to find the suspect attempting to start the victim’s car.The victim escaped to call the police.When police arrived the suspect was gone. The victim was robbed of his personal items in his pocket.

The suspect is described as a local male, of average height and skinny build. The suspect was possibly in his late teens, to early 20’s, wearing a beige t-shirt, dark pants, dark short hair, and dark skinned.

The items stolen include a black Nokia cell phone, a set of keys, and a brown checkered leather wallet containing credit cards, driver’s license and about $100.

Burglary in Susupe

Crime Stoppers is also seeking information regarding a burglary and theft incident that occurred at an apartment building located in Susupe.

On Monday, Jan. 10, the victims awoke to discover a handbag missing from the living room.The victims are business owners with two small children.They last saw the handbag in their living room the night before.Sometime after midnight, while they were asleep in their second story apartment, the suspect(s) entered the room through the balcony sliding door.

In the morning the victim’s awoke to discover the handbag missing and the balcony sliding door open. Inside the stolen Louis Vutton handbag were company checks, a wallet containing a Korean passport, credit cards, and over $15,000.00 in cash.

Ongoing investigation

Crime Stoppers is likewise seeking the community’s assistance for information on a rape incident that occurred in Kagman on June 16, 2010.The victim, a juvenile female, stated she was kidnapped and raped.

Further police investigation led to the arrest of four local men.The men were charged but released due to insufficient evidence.
