Governor nominates Eusebio Manglona to CPA board

GOVERNOR David M. Apatang last week appointed Office of the Governor Program Manager Eusebio M. Manglona to the Commonwealth Ports Authority Board of Directors.

In his letter to Manglona, the governor said he and Lt. Gov. Dennis James Mendiola are confident that Manglona is qualified and will be an asset to the important board. “Your willingness to serve our people is most appreciated,” the governor told him.

If his nomination is confirmed by the Senate, Manglona, who will represent Rota on the board, will serve a four-year term that expires on Oct. 7, 2029. He will fill the seat vacated by former CPA Board Vice Chairman Steve Mesngon, who resigned last month.

Manglona holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice from Northern Marianas College and completed the 14th Cycle Basic Law Enforcement Police Academy at NMC. He also served as program manager for the Commonwealth Bureau of Military Affairs.
