(MVA) — The Marianas Visitors Authority and Saipan Unity Lions Club are proud to announce the return of the Hell of the Marianas Century Cycle on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, with online registration now open at https://my.raceresult.com/367789
Hell of the Marianas is widely regarded as one of the toughest and most scenic cycling events in Micronesia. Riders from across Asia and the Pacific are expected to converge on Saipan to take on the island’s dramatic terrain, including 4,900 feet of elevation gain across a 100-kilometer course.
The race will include a 100K Long Course (Pro/Elite and Open Divisions) and a 50K Short Course (Road & MTB divisions). Registration is $60 through Dec. 5, 2025, and $80 on event day. Registration fee is the same for both solo and group entries.
“Hell of the Marianas is a race like no other,” said MVA Managing Director Jamika R. Taijeron. “Hell showcases our islands’ raw beauty, endurance, and spirit. Every climb, every turn, and every ocean view reminds participants why The Marianas is one of the most spectacular cycling destinations in the Pacific. We’re proud to welcome athletes from around the world to experience our islands and our hospitality.”
All registered participants will receive an official Hell of the Marianas race t-shirt and entry to the post-race awards banquet.
The Hell of the Marianas course winds through Saipan’s hills, valleys, and coastal byways, offering a true test of endurance and skill. Open to both amateur and professional riders, the event has become a cornerstone of Saipan’s sporting calendar and a celebration of its natural beauty and cultural resiliency.
Since its inception in 2007, the race has welcomed elite athletes from Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Russia, Australia, Guam, and other nations — each drawn by the challenge and the charm of The Marianas.
