(Office of the Governor) — In a memorandum Monday, Nov. 25, to all department and activity heads, Special Assistant for Administration Jean Paul Reyes stated:
“Please be informed that the Christmas Village lighting event which was originally scheduled for November 28, 2025 has been postponed and rescheduled to December 5, 2025. Additional dates for the event are December 12, December 13, and December 19.
“This change is necessary to allow adequate time to prepare the multi-purpose building for the state funeral of former Lt. Gov. Diego T. Benavente.
“We appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation as we make the necessary arrangements for this solemn occasion.”
