6JMS Vicious and True North Lady Langilang have set the stage in the ladies division Bud Light Cup finals of the 2025 SEDA Bud Light Dart League after triumphing over their respective opponents during the semifinal matches on Monday at 6JMS Sports Bar and True North Bar.

Precision, nerves of steel, and teamwork were on full display by 6JMS Vicious as they sailed smoothly to the finals, defeating Bistro Paiwel, 8-2.

The night started with an exchange in the opening Partners 301 set. Vicious’ Kayla Reyes and Virgina “Gin” Cruz bested Paiwel’s Benita Seman and Viann “Bing” Wabol to claim the first game, while Paiwel’s Nicky “Aguguat” Mikel and Nancy Cruz edged Vicious’ Emy Oiterong and Jamie Hayes to take the second, splitting the set 1-1.

In the Singles Crazy Cricket set, Paiwel tried to hang on, with Wabol earning a solo win, but was overshadowed by Vicious as Reyes, Valerie Naputi, and Frances Magofna claimed the remaining three games to take the lead, 4-2.

Despite Paiwel’s efforts, they were silenced for the rest of the night. Vicious established dominance with a two-win sweep in the Partners 501 set and followed with a second consecutive four-win sweep in the Singles Half-It set, sealing the victory midway and leaving the last two sets untouched, 8-2.

Early success

At True North Bar, Lady Langilang outlasted 520 Darty Minds, 8-5.

Lady Langilang found early success, sweeping the opening Partners 301 set with Jemma “BadShot” Manibo and Nancy Seman along with Fanlyd Hallito and Delma Peter.

Although Darty Minds’ Jamata Castro and Johnny “Browhne” Agulto responded with back-to-back wins, Lady Langilang’s Hallito and Peter captured the remaining games of the Singles Crazy Cricket set and recorded a second two-win sweep in the Partners 501 set, extending the lead to 6-2.

Darty Minds still had some fight left, posting a 3-1 run during the Singles Half-It set. However, it only delayed the inevitable as Manibo and Seman collected the eighth and final win in the first game of the Partners Regular Cricket set to end the night early, 8-5.

6JMS Vicious and True North Lady Langilang will face off in the Bud Light Cup finals this Monday.
