6JMS Vicious were crowned the new champions Monday night after putting on a clinic against True North Lady Langilang, earning a decisive 8–3 victory in the ladies division finals of the Bud Light Cup tournament during the 2025 SEDA Bud Light Dart League at 6JMS Bar.
Vicious’ fast start set the tone early as they established immediate control in the opening Partners 301 set. The powerhouse duo of Kayla Reyes and Emy Oiterong provided the spark, securing the first game over Lady Langilang’s Fanlyd Hallito and Jennifer Dela Cruz. Valerie Naputi and Frances Magofna kept the momentum rolling, winning the second game to give Vicious an early 2–0 lead.
Lady Langilang showed resilience in the Singles Crazy Cricket set, with Jemma “BadShot” Manibo and Hallito showcasing their individual skills to claim the first two games. However, Naputi and Magofna answered back for Vicious, taking the remaining two games to maintain the advantage at 4–2.
The turning point came midway through the match, when Vicious slammed the door shut during the Partners 501 set. Once again, the pairings of Reyes and Oiterong, along with Naputi and Magofna, displayed the chemistry that defined their season, sweeping both games to extend the lead to 6–2.
In the following Singles Half-It set, Vicious moved within striking distance of the title after Reyes secured the team’s seventh win.
With their backs against the wall, Lady Langilang’s Delma Peter and Nancy Seman clawed back two consecutive points. It was not enough, however, as Oiterong captured the decisive game to reach the winning total of eight, sealing the championship before the Partners Regular Cricket and Team 1101 sets were needed.
Vicious celebrated a double triumph, claiming the ladies division Bud Light Cup along with first place in the regular season, finishing with a record of 360 wins and 135 losses.
The Vicious roster consists of Mary-Lois Blaluk, Virginia “Gin” Cruz, Frances Magofna, Kayla Reyes, Valerie Naputi, Emy Oiterong, and Jamie Hayes.
