Located at Gold Beach Hotel on Beach Road, Casa Marianas offers a variety of meeting and event spaces, from conference rooms for six to 10 people to co-working areas for up to 30, and an outdoor courtyard with pool and dining spaces for larger gatherings. The property features super-fast business-class 5GB fiber-backed WiFi provided by Docomo Pacific throughout, along with projectors, AV systems, and displays for meetings, presentations, and training.
“We want to be a resource for our local community to gather, connect, and collaborate in the shared goal of developing a vibrant, robust, and diverse economy,” Goldman said.
“For community programming offered at no cost to attendees, Casa Marianas provides a free venue and support to host your events,” he added.
Casa Marianas also offers a wide range of services for local entrepreneurs, remote workers, creative professionals, small businesses, and organizations. Local membership starts at $20 per month for co-working and $30 per month for “hot desk” office access. Conference rooms are available to members on an hourly or daily basis, and low-cost printing, scanning, notary, registered agent, and other business services are also offered.
The 24 long-stay resident bedrooms are designed to host digital nomads and remote workers for month-long or longer stays. Each spacious room features a dedicated workspace with two desks and chairs, an en-suite bathroom, fridge, kettle, and 24/7 access to coworking and hot-desk spaces. Rooms can be customized with one or two beds and additional equipment such as TVs, monitors, and chairs.
Casa Marianas is also home to Good Game Island, hosting esports tournaments and tryouts every Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to identify top local gamers for full-time positions in their Performance Gaming program. More information is available at https://esports.mp
A retro gaming lounge is set to open in February, featuring classic consoles and PC games for the community.
“As a creative and local business owner, it’s exciting to see the range of talent in our community,” Goldman said. “However, it can be challenging to connect with peers and meet new partners without a gathering place.”
“A founding goal of Casa Marianas was to provide a physical ‘headquarters’ for the digital economy and a venue where like-minded members could grow their own businesses,” he added.
