IN a commanding display of offensive efficiency and defensive pressure, Kagman High School V secured a decisive 65–27 victory over Grace Christian Academy on Wednesday night at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium, earning its first win in the boys high school division of the PSS-NMIBF IT&E Interscholastic Basketball League SY25-26.
From the opening tipoff, KHS established a blistering pace. Led by the interior presence of Shahedur Rahman and the scoring of Spencer Ngiraked and Ibrahim Ibarola, KHS dismantled GCA with a balanced attack, surging to a commanding 40–9 lead by halftime.
GCA struggled to find its rhythm against KHS’s full-court pressure and was often forced into difficult shots and turnovers. While Ayden Yumul and Vidal Camacho worked to keep GCA competitive, the height and depth of KHS’s roster proved too much to overcome in the early frames.
In the second half, Coach Genesis Manglona’s squad rotated through its bench while maintaining steady production. Rahman, Clinton Halder, and Amado Santiago continued to anchor the effort as KHS cruised to the 65–27 victory.
In other games, Agape Christian School eased past Saipan International School, 52–19, while Marianas High School Blue bested KHS JV, 35–11.
