MARIANAS High School V collected its second straight win in the girls high school division of the PSS-NMIFA Interscholastic Soccer League SY25-26 with a 5–0 victory over Saipan International School on Tuesday at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville.

The MHS V Dolphins set the tone early when Iris Rasa broke through the SIS Geckos’ defense and found the back of the net in the 8th minute. Riding the momentum, MHS kept the pressure on, and just a minute later Orica George added another goal to extend the lead to 2–0.

SIS received strong efforts from Addalee Taflinger, Yeji Jang, and Ziting Wu, who helped hold the line and prevent further damage for the remainder of the first half.

Despite SIS’ resistance, MHS maintained control in the second half. After several minutes of back-and-forth play, Aubrey White delivered a hat trick, scoring in the 40th, 51st, and 58th minutes to seal the 5–0 victory.

KHS vs MHS JV

In another match, Kagman High School salvaged a 3–3 draw against MHS JV.

KHS appeared in control early as Hailey Benavente netted back-to-back goals in the 19th and 34th minutes to give her team a 2–0 advantage.

MHS JV responded in the second half, with Amber Than scoring in the 37th minute, followed by Jian Chun’s equalizer in the 48th to tie the match at 2–2.

Quiara Sanchez later put MHS JV ahead with a goal in the 55th minute, but KHS avoided defeat when Caurie Staffler scored in the 67th minute to secure the 3–3 draw.
