THE TakeCare Youth Soccer League Spring 2026 season kicked off the U17 girls division with a flurry of goals, highlighted by dominant performances from Latte Football Club and Kanoa Football Club during opening matches at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville on Saturday.

Latte FC made a strong debut, blanking Paire Football Club, 5-0.

Much of the first half was tightly contested, with both teams creating scoring opportunities. However, a handful of defensive miscues by PFC opened the door for LFC to capitalize. Talina Aguon-McClure broke the deadlock with goals in the 3rd and 16th minutes, giving Latte a 2-0 cushion at halftime.

PFC struggled to penetrate Latte’s defensive line in the second half. Meanwhile, LFC continued to press. Anica May Aquino extended the lead in the 57th minute before Aguon-McClure completed her hat trick in the 60th. Alyssa Borlongan added another goal a minute later to seal the 5-0 victory.

Kanoa FC also opened its campaign in emphatic fashion, dismantling MP United Football Club, 11-0.

Kanoa’s chemistry was evident from the opening whistle, as it controlled possession and netted six goals in the first half. Aubrey White, Ye Lynn Ha, and Beatrice Gross each scored twice to pace the early surge.

Gross and Ha continued their scoring spree in the second half, combining for additional goals, while Faith Arriola added one in the 62nd minute to complete the dominant win.
