SHIRLEY’S Football Club 2 and MP United FC remain among the top three on the B-division leaderboard of the Dove Women’s League Spring 2026 after triumphing over their respective opponents during Sunday’s matches at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville.

Shirley’s FC 2 sits in second place overall after clinching their third win against Matansa FC, 2-0. The match was a tactical battle, but SFC2 proved more clinical in front of goal.

After 20 minutes of back-and-forth play, Jehnifer Villagomez drew first blood to give her team a 1-0 lead. In the 47th minute, Richelle Ramon broke through the defensive lines and scored to double the lead, solidifying SFC2’s victory.

Victorious, too

MP United FC was also victorious, outshooting Shirley’s FC 1, 4-0. The match featured relentless offensive pressure, with MPU attacking early and often. Frances Santos and Arriane Antonio set the tone with goals in the 25th and 28th minutes, respectively.

In the second half, MPU maintained control, with Mannelyn Cabrera adding back-to-back goals in the 44th and 53rd minutes to secure the win.

Kanoa FC earned their first win of the season, thanks to a lone goal by Ayessa Tereyama in the 16th minute, defeating Latte FC 2, 1-0.
