Joeten Daidai Foundation receives $5,000 grant from Bank of Hawai’i Foundation to support student scholarships

(Press Release) — On Friday, March 20, 2026, Bank of Hawai’i  Foundation awarded a $5,000 grant to Joeten Daidai Foundation in support of the organization’s student scholarship program across the NMI.

Presenting the check on behalf of Bank of Hawai’i, Senior Vice President & West Pacific Market President Mike Sakazaki said, “Bank of Hawai’i believes in the meaningful work your foundation does for the community we care about. We are pleased to support the important mission of the Joeten Daidai Foundation.”

Each year, the Joeten Daidai Foundation awards scholarships to high school students who demonstrate academic excellence, recognizing their hard work and dedication.

Patty T. Palacios, Executive Director of the Joeten Daidai Foundation expressed her gratitude, “The timing of your grant couldn’t be better as our annual student scholarship process begins next month. This generous support will benefit deserving students across the NMI, helping them pursue the next chapter in their education. We are truly grateful and appreciative for the Bank of Hawai’i Foundation’s support and partnership. Their support plays a meaningful role in helping the communities we serve.”
