(NMC) — Demonstrating its commitment to higher education in the CNMI, Docomo Pacific has donated $5,000 in cash and in-kind contributions, including an Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max, to the Northern Marianas College Foundation. The donation will support the NMC Golf Open set for March 22 and 23, 2025.
“We believe in the power of education to shape a brighter future for the CNMI,” said Docomo Pacific Brand Manager Brent Deleon Guerrero. “By sponsoring this year’s golf open, we are investing in the next generation and strengthening our island community. Docomo Pacific is honored to contribute $5,000 to this event, which brings people together in the spirit of giving and progress.”
This year’s NMC Golf Open will take place over two days at LaoLao Bay Golf and Resort. The tournament fee for the 2025 event is $250.
“On behalf of the NMC Foundation, we sincerely appreciate Docomo Pacific’s generous support for our Golf Open,” said NMC Foundation Chair Ben Babauta.
The tournament, which is also the signature event of the NMC Foundation, aims to raise funds to build and equip modern, innovative campus facilities that will help expand the CNMI’s workforce development efforts, stimulate economic growth, and provide access to quality education for the residents of the islands.
