Manamkos Rule Rocball

The Manamkos is the only indefeated team after three rounds of Rocball competition at MHS. Rocball games have been a annual part of the PSS sport activities since 1983. This year six teams are competiting for Rocball’s championship title for Northern Mariana Islands. 

The Manamkos have a 3 win and zero loss record. Teams Campeones and Divas are tied for second place at 2 wins and 1 loss each. The Local Locos and and CGU 32 are tied for third place at 1 win and 2 losses. And, team KMA is so far this year winless.

In Rocball’s unique scoring methods which include the volleyball’s “side-out” one point scoring system, teams have improved their multiple scoring system with one, two, and three point plays. The top three teams in each category are teams Divas with 33 two point serves, 1 one point jam, ten 3 point goals. The team with the second best multiple point scoring record is the Campeones with 30 two point serves and 4 three point goals, and team CGU 32 with 28 two point serves and 4 three point goals. The players of team Local Locos are a notable mention with 28 two point serves and 2 three point goals.

The players with the best multiple point scoring records, which does not include a volleyball floor play of one point each but is a part of Rocball’s scoring system, are Jasper Hall of the Divas with 12 aces, 1 jam, 1 kee, and 6 goals, Trey Igisomar of the Campeones with 8 aces and kees, and Zenn Tomokane of the CGU32 with 4 goals.
