THE Offices of the Governor & Lt. Governor would like to inform the residents of Tinian that there will be a community distribution drive this Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025 at 8 a.m. at the Tinian Youth Center.
Participants will receive one 50lb sack of rice per vehicle only. Participants will need to present their driver’s license and their license plate number will be recorded to prevent duplication of assistance. The event will be a drive-thru distribution. No Walk-ins or Walk-up’s are allowed. Supply is limited and available for distribution on a first come, first serve basis, while supplies last.
Motorists are asked to start at the Northwest Bound Lane (closest to the Public Gymnasium) facing the Tinian Youth Center (see map on this page). Motorists are advised to obey traffic laws and to not obstruct businesses or residential driveways. The Department of Public Safety will be present at key locations to help direct the flow of traffic. Both DPS and the Department of Fire & Emergency Medical Services will be present to provide support during the distribution efforts.
