SAIPAN International School is one of the teams to beat in the girls high school division of the PSS-NMIFA Interscholastic Soccer League SY24-25 after outscoring Saipan Southern High School, 8-3, at the NMI Soccer Training Center on Friday.

SIS controlled the early minutes of the opening half with two goals by Addalee Taflinger and Kaithlyn Chavez to grasp the lead, 2-0.

SSHS managed to equalize thanks to Teneasha Diaz and Jaena Laniyo, but SIS remained afloat after Chavez added two more goals to complete a hat-trick for a 4-2 lead.

In the second half, SIS dominated offensively, adding four more goals, including two from Aubrey White. SSHS managed to score, but it wasn’t enough to prevent an SIS victory, 8-3.

Marianas High School’s varsity team bagged their second straight win by trouncing Kagman High School’s junior varsity team, 14-1.

Rizza Relucio led the onslaught with seven goals.
