PREMIER Builders emerged victorious in their debut game against the Eagles, 97-77, in the Alpha Kappa Rho 1st Semi-Open Invitational Basketball League 2025 at the TSL Sports Complex on Sunday.

The first half saw both teams exchanging buckets.

The Eagles relied on teamwork with Ryan Odicta and Gerald Aniciete leading most of the highlights with their teammates chipping.

For their part, Premier Builders played to their strengths, with Coby Santos sparking the offense with five points. Jeff Victoria, Bryan Natividad, and James Kintz also contributed five points each, giving their team a 41-36 lead.

In the second half, Premier Builders’ Sonny Lerio scored six points alongside Victoria and Billy Natividad to extend the lead to double digits.

The Eagles continued to put up a fight with Prince Safroca and Dareh Alviz leading the charge. However, their missed shots gave Premier Builders more scoring opportunities, allowing them to cruise to a 97-77 victory.

Other games

Pho Tam bested Vizion Insurance, 94-76. Douglas Schmidt and Aiden Suba led the way, scoring in double digits in the first half, while Kenny Laquim and Dhan Mateo took over in the second half to secure the victory.

Jacob’s Bakery also joined the winner’s circle by slipping past K2 Ballers, 84-81.
