A night of enchantment: Xtreme Fitness 670 welcomes new year

A HEALTH and wellness event featured elaborate fantasy costumes, high-energy dance performances, and an enchanting ambiance as Xtreme Fitness 670 celebrated the new year on Saturday night at Saipan World Resort’s Royal Taga Hall.

This year’s theme was “Fantasy Forest,” and over a hundred members, family members and friends, including local artist and fitness advocate Dee Clayton, were present during the celebration.

According to Xtreme Fitness 670 founder Mitch Olita, the theme was chosen to create a magical atmosphere and provide attendees with a unique and memorable experience.

“[We want] to transport our members and guests into a magical world of enchantment, allowing them to escape reality and immerse themselves in a whimsical setting.  It was designed to bring a sense of wonder and joy to the event, creating a unique and unforgettable experience for everyone. The energy and excitement of the participations truly made the night a memorable one,” Olita said.

A Tinian cultural dance group led by Jackilyn Sanchez and Jayvie Decena opened the celebration.

Lions Club International District 204 Region Chair and Supertech owner Marcelo Masilungan, as guest speaker, commended the group’s commitment to physical fitness and community engagement as well as involvement in various organizations.

The 21-day weight loss challenge was the event’s highlight, showcasing the participants’ dedication and hard work toward achieving their fitness goals.

“It was an inspiring and motivating segment that celebrated health and wellness achievements,” Olita said.

Myrna Manungay achieved the top spot in this year’s challenge, recording a total weight loss of 10.66%. Daisy Javillonar and Crisanta Villas placed second and third, respectively.

The Dazzling Dance Diva Award went to Maria Consolacion Olicia and Jasmine Gomez. Nemie Cayao was the Style Icon of the Night while the Enchanted Elegance Award was given to Ma. Cristina Villas.
