SAIPAN Mayor RB Camacho sends a big thank you to the cadets and instructors of the Manta Ray and Ayuyu Battalions of Saipan Southern and Kagman High School for their community work in cleaning the Chalan Kanoa cemetery.

The mayor is very grateful that the JROTC cadets are continuing these cleanup initiatives in the cemetery. He praised the initiative and leadership roles the cadets have taken in both the community and their schools.  This is a reflection of the values and teachings of the JROTC program, which instill responsibility, citizenship, and leadership.

“I encourage all members of our community — individuals, organizations, businesses, and government alike — to join hands and support these initiatives, fostering a spirit of unity and service,” the mayor said.

In September, the Saipan Mayor’s Office, in cooperation with CHCC’s Bureau of Environmental Health, along with other local leaders held similar cleanups at the Chalan Kanoa and Tanapag cemeteries.

For any questions or more information, contact the Saipan Mayor’s Office at (670) 234-6208. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Saipan Mayor’s Office is also open through lunch.
