Tinian allocates over $500K in casino license fee collections in FY 2024

THE Tinian Legislative Delegation has appropriated a total of $592,858 in casino license fee collected from Tinian Diamond Hotel & Casino, according to the citizen centric report submitted to the Legislature by the Tinian Casino Gaming Control Commission.

Tinian Local Law 23-5 appropriated $411,750 for Tinian’s gaming commissioners and enforcement administration, and $36,000 for operations.

 T.L.L. 23-11 allotted $10,000 for the Commission’s personnel while T.L.L. 23-13 allotted $41,017 for the commission’s personnel and operation.

Lastly, T.L.L. 23-16 allotted a total of $94,091 for the commission’s personnel and operations.

Owned by Bridge Investment Group, the Tinian Diamond Hotel held its grand opening on Nov. 30, 2023.

On April 26, 2024, BIG launched the Tinian Diamond Restaurant and the Tinian Diamond Casino.

According to Tinian Diamond Hotel and Casino Vice President for Casino Operations Michael J. Mascio, the Tinian casino has a total of six gambling tables. These include three baccarat tables, one of which is designated for VIPs; two black jack tables; and one roulette table. The casino also has 18 slot machines, all operational.

The casino operators planned to hold a baccarat tournament on Sept. 28, 2024, but due to insufficient registrations, it was rescheduled for Nov. 29, 2024.
