SAIPAN Mayor RB Camacho calls upon community members to work together and be vigilant in light of recent criminal activities.
Following a recent spike of criminal activity including the theft of vehicle tires and gas, Camacho is calling upon the community to report all suspicious activities to the proper authorities. “If you see something, say something,” he said, adding that any information or tips regarding these crimes will ultimately will help our law enforcement protect our communities.
The mayor reiterated that “our island is a diverse community and is calling upon all of our ethnic groups to stand and work together to combat this unacceptable behavior.”
As part of the efforts to curb crime, the mayor is gradually working to re-launch the Neighborhood Watch Program, and is calling upon community members to become an active part of this initiative when it launches.
