Zenie Mafnas
THE Northern Marianas Housing Corporation’s board of directors on Tuesday announced the appointment of Zenie P. Mafnas as NMHC’s corporate director.
Her predecessor, Jesse Palacios, was appointed deputy corporate director.
NMHC said it was “a unanimous decision” by the board, which is chaired by Merced M. Tomokane, to appoint Mafnas corporate director.
“For the past 17 years, Ms. Mafnas has worked in various positions at NMHC,” NMHC stated.
“Prior to this appointment, she has served as NMHC’s deputy corporate director. She holds a master’s degree in Business from the Chaminade University of Honolulu. She will be the second woman to lead the agency since its inception.”
Mafnas “expresses her sincere gratitude to NMHC’s board of directors for their confidence in her and she looks forward to working with all NMHC’s stakeholders, most especially families under NMHC’s programs.”
