(SCC) — The Saipan Chamber of Commerce proudly held its first ribbon-cutting ceremony to welcome returning member Younis Art Studio Inc. dba Marianas Variety and new member Tupu Cane Juice, into the chamber membership. This ceremony marks a significant effort to embrace new members and highlight their unique establishments.
The ceremony, a first of its kind for the chamber, was designed to foster a sense of community and support among local businesses. By officially welcoming Younis Art Studio Inc. and Tupu Cane Juice, the chamber aims to increase their visibility and encourage patronage from both residents and visitors.
“We are thrilled to welcome Younis Art Studio Inc. and Tupu Cane Juice to the Saipan Chamber of Commerce familia,” said Kimm Camacho, executive director of the Saipan Chamber of Commerce. “This ribbon-cutting ceremony symbolizes our commitment to supporting new and existing businesses and helping them thrive in our community. We look forward to seeing their growth and success as well as supporting it,” said Camacho.
Younis Art Studio, a returning chamber member, is known for its exceptional contributions to the printing community, offering a diverse range of artistic services and products. YAS publishes Marianas Variety, founded in 1972 by the late Abed E. Younis, who also served as a Saipan Chamber of Commerce president. His son, Amier C. Younis, is the current president of YAS.
Tupu Cane Juice, known for its delicious, refreshing, and unique cane juice, brings a new flavor to the local market. They have sugar cane farms produced here on Saipan and in Rota, adding a local touch to their business, owned and operated by Cameron Atalig.
SCC continues to strive toward creating opportunities and providing a platform for businesses to network, grow, and succeed. This ribbon-cutting ceremony is just one of many initiatives planned to support local businesses.
