Elizabeth Balajadia, P.E.
GOVERNOR Arnold I. Palacios on Monday reappointed Capital Improvement Program Administrator Elizabeth S. Balajadia, P.E. to the Board of Professional Licensing.
Balajadia, who also serves as the director of the Office of Planning and Development, will represent Saipan on the board for a six-year term if her nomination is confirmed by the Senate.
In his letter to Senate President Edith Deleon Guerrero, the governor said he and Lt. Gov. David M. Apatang have complete confidence in Balajadia’s ability to devote her time and efforts “to the best interests of our people.”
The governor said he and the lt. governor “believe that her continued membership to this board is essential to ensure consistency and continuity in fulfilling the goals and objectives of the Board of Professional Licensing.”
He requested the Senate president for a favorable consideration of the nomination.
In his appointment letter to Balajadia, the governor said he and the lt. governor have complete confidence “in your unwavering commitment to serving the best interests of our people. We greatly appreciate your willingness to continue serving on this critical board, and we are confident that your time and efforts will be invaluable to our community.”
