SHANE Alvarez and Aric Cruz each recorded another perfect run in their respective classes in round five of the Marianas Racing Association “Moto VI” 2024 Points Race Series at the Cowtown Raceway Park on Sunday.

Alvarez remains the rider to beat as he continues to solidify his seat at the top by notching his second consecutive 50-point finish.

But it was not an easy feat as his rival Corry Pangelinan didn’t lag far behind, finishing second in both heats to earn 44 points while Ellery Cruz settled for third with 40 points.

Like Alvarez, Aric Cruz also recorded another flawless performance, finishing first in both heats to garner 50 points and remain the top rider in the Intermediate Class.

In second place was Vicente Palacios with 44 points while Charles Cepeda came in third with 20 points.

Leading the pack of riders on a win streak is Cuki Alvarez, who collected his third straight 50-point performance in the Veterans Class.

Cuki had to look over his shoulder, however, as Champi Villacanes continued to trail just a millisecond behind, finishing second with 44 points followed by Bob Ferrer with 38, Ray Yumul with 34, Charles Cepeda with 20, and Ponce Rasa with 15.

Earning his time in the spotlight was Matthew Guerrero, who finally bested top rider Christian Camacho in the Novice Class.

Guerrero secured first-place finishes in both heats to collect 50 points while Camacho settled for second place with 44 points. Frankie Sablan was third with 38, and Ponce Rasa was fourth with 20.
