NMC’s top business students inducted into Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society

(NMC) —  Nineteen Northern Marianas College School of Business students were recently inducted into the Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society. These students ranked in the top 20% of the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral classes at schools with chapters of Sigma Beta Delta.

“We are extremely proud of the newly-inducted students and the recognition and pride they bring to NMC,” said NMC President Dr. Galvin S. Deleon Guerrero.

The Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society was established as an international organization in 1994 to provide an opportunity for faculty at institutions with regional accreditation to confer on their business, management, and administration students’ international recognition for their outstanding academic achievements.

Sigma Beta Delta also encourages and promotes aspirations toward personal and professional improvement and a life distinguished by honorable service. Since June 30, 2017, Sigma Beta Delta has installed over 450 chapters in 48 states and internationally while inducting 100,000 members worldwide.

The following students were inducted into the Northern Marianas College chapter of Sigma Beta Delta: Chelsea Borja, Maricon Bricia-Allen, Mary Brondo, Allia Calilap, Mark Calma, Mary-Jo Camacho, Mica Camacho, Ardel Ciolo, Anushi Joshi, Jessy Lou Lizama, Jeiel Montilla, Sharon Paek, Charisse Ramos, Rose Marie Reyes, Andrea Roberto, Javian Sablan, Ashley Taisacan, Halia Taisacan, and Katrina Valenzuela.
