BINGO and a Texas Hold ‘em poker tournament will highlight the Rotary Club of Saipan’s Las Vegas Night fundraising event, which takes place this Saturday, May 11, at Crowne Plaza Resort, according to the club’s sergeant-at-arms, Curtis Dancoe.
Las Vegas Night is the club’s “premier fundraising event,” Dancoe said in a previous interview.
Funds raised support the numerous community projects sponsored by Rotarians.
Starting at 6 p.m. Crowne Plaza’s Hibiscus Hall will also host roulette and blackjack tables, Dancoe said.
For the Texas Hold ‘em tournament, registration begins at 11 a.m. at the Hibiscus Hall, and tournament play starts at noon.
Entry buy-ins are $150 with $100 rebuy opportunities.
Dancoe said aside from the main tournament, side cash game tables will also be available.
Bingo will begin at 11 a.m. in the nearby Azucena Room. Regular bingo games cost $1, while special and blackout games cost $3 and $5, respectively.
Door prizes will be given away hourly starting at 7 p.m. Hotel overnight stays, iPhones, iPads and other exciting prizes are at stake in the raffle drawing.
For the fundraising raffle, the grand prize is a 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage Hatchback courtesy of Triple J Motors, or $10,000 in cash.
Major prizes in cash will also be raffled off including $3,000 for first place, $2,000 for second place, $1,000 for third place, and $500 for fourth place.
Raffle tickets cost $20 each and are available at Triple J Motors, Latte Built Fitness, Paradise Dental Spa, and Megabyte.
