THE CNMI Emergency Operations Center State Warning Point in conjunction with U.S. Naval Forces Marianas Guam would like to inform the general public that the military will conduct training on Tinian from April 15 to 21, 2024, 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
The training will take place and in the Tinian exclusive military use area, North Field, the Japanese air administration and air operation buildings, the Japanese communication center and the San Jose port.
Marine vessels are advised to monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast notice to mariners for advisories, and remain clear of the areas for the duration of the events.
Acting Gov. David M. Apatang said residents in the areas surrounding the training exercises should not be alarmed if they hear or see increased training activity.
