(Commonwealth Utilities Corporation) — There will be a scheduled water service interruption affecting customers in Garapan on Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Areas affected: Garapan (Coral Tree Avenue between CPL Derence Jack Road and Coconut Street).

• Purpose: To allow CUC’s contractor, Hong Ye Construction, to isolate the mainline between Plumeria Avenue and Coral Tree Avenue, and Coral Tree Avenue and Coconut Street in Garapan. This is due to the 10-inch pipe diversion that is impacted by the new sewer service lateral installation on Coral Tree Avenue, in front of the Shanghai Building.
To ensure the crew’s safety, Coral Tree Avenue between CPL Derence Jack Road and Coconut Street will be closed. Motorists are advised to reduce speed and exercise caution while driving in the area or take alternative routes. Customers in the area will experience low to no water pressure between the specified hours. Allow one to two hours for the water lines to fully pressurize.
CUC apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and will continue to work diligently to provide reliable services to its customers. For more information, contact the hotline at (670) 236-4333, visit CUC’s website at https://www.cucgov.org or monitor its Facebook page.
