2 men allegedly beat up wives

A INTOXICATED man allegedly beat up his wife while another man assaulted his live-in partner for leaving their child to go drinking in separate incidents in Chalan Laulau on Sunday night.

Police identified the suspects as David Sablan and Rahman Khan. Sablan has not yet been arrested, while Khan was detained.

According to a 20-year-old woman, at 11 a.m. she went with her husband, Sablan, to San Antonio beach where the suspect started consuming alcohol.

After a few hours, the couple went to a residence of Sablan’s sister. Both went back to their house in Chalan Laulau at 9 p.m.

Sablan, however, left the house again. The wife put their five-month-old baby to sleep and went to look for him.

The wife found Sablan drinking at a neighbor’s house. When they reached home, Sablan started asking about his money.

The suspect then allegedly began slapping and punching the victim several times on the face and head.

Sablan’s mother tried to stop the suspect, but apparently he continued beating her. The victim managed to ran away with her baby.

In the second incident, the 31-year-old woman said she was sitting under a tree in front of their house in Chalan Laulau when her live-in partner, Khan, came and kicked her on the face.

The victim said Khan was mad at her because she left their kids unattended and went to her aunt to drink beer.

Their daughter, ran to their neighbor’s house where she called the police.

The daughter told the police that it was not the first time their father beat up their mother.

Police said the victim sustained minor injuries on the face.
