A POKER arcade employee was arrested on Thursday for allegedly stealing collection money to play poker.
Alejandro Romeo Marguina, 41, was held for theft.
Police said Marguina confessed he stole $1,903 from his employer, You Rim Corp.
Investigation showed that an employee of You Rim inventoried Joker Game Room Poker and discovered that $1,200 was missing.
When the employee brought the issue to the attention of the other cashiers, Marguina admitted he took the money and played poker with it.
He also confessed he took $703 in collection money from King’s Poker and played poker with it last Wednesday.
According to the employee, the suspect signed a confession letter. Marguina later told the police that no one forced him to sign the letter.
