SIXTY jobless supporters of the mayor of Tinian are still waiting to be rehired. This is very painful for us, due to the fact that we have obligations to pay, such as bank loans, rent, utilities, food for their children, etc.
Therefore, I would like to ask our mayor and Tinian’s senators to please do something and help us. Please understand that we are strong supporters of the Democratic Party. We campaigned for the party’s candidates and we’re glad that all of you were victorious. But now we are sad and we cannot stand the pain. We want to avoid being prosecuted for a small claim charge at the court.
We, the 60 jobless supporters, are waiting to be rehired by our honorable Mayor Frank M. Borja. We promise to remain loyal to the Democratic Party and support those who are planning to run in the next elections.
Please Mr. Mayor, Tinian senators and municipal council members—please don’t let our children suffer.
Your kind consideration and understanding to resolve this critical problem will be greatly appreciated.
