A WOMAN yesterday sued the Northern Marianas Housing Corp., claiming that she was injured when she fell down at the NMHC office in Garapan last year.
Loreta J. Calijan, through attorney David G. Banes, sued NMHC for alleged negligence.
NMHC officials were not available for comment yesterday.
Calijan asked the Superior Court to order NMHC to pay her general damages and special damages for medical and related expenses.
Banes said the alleged incident happened on June 27, 2001, during normal business hours. On that day, Calijan was at NMHC to secure services from the agency, the lawyer said.
