Veterinarians to visit Palau

KOROR (Palau Horizon) — Palau Animal Welfare Society will once again host a group of visiting veterinarians from May 30 to June 4.

“During that time, we will hold a spay/neuter clinic surgery (so your animal cannot produce babies),” the society said.

“We will also have a professional animal capture person on the team. This will enable us to catch pets and other dogs in your neighborhood that are timid and afraid, and therefore difficult to catch, so that they can also be brought to the clinic for the spay/neuter surgery,” the society said.

“We hope we can also target some of the villages with problem animals, such as dangerous or nuisance dog packs.”
