4 boys try to steal money from poker arcade

FOUR boys allegedly attempted to steal money from a poker arcade in Dandan by breaking the bill acceptor of the poker machines on Monday morning.

One of the suspects was arrested, according to Department of Public Safety spokesman Pete C. Muna.

Muna said investigation showed that one of the suspects entered Texas Poker at 6 a.m. and left after playing for 20 minutes.

The first suspect returned with three other suspects at 1 p.m. The group left the establishment and returned drunk at 2:30 p.m.

A poker attendant later heard a noise and saw the first suspect opening the bill acceptor of the poker machine.

The attendant called the police, but the suspects ran away.

Responding police officers noticed the damage on the poker machines’ bill acceptor. Investigators also found that the the windshields and front side lamps of a Toyota Camry parked near the establishment were also damaged.
