HIGHGRADE Dispensary, which opened its doors for business on Feb. 2, is located on Beach Road in Garapan, just north of Mobil-McDonald’s.
Its hours of operation are 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday to Friday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
According to shop manager Chris Meyers, who is also the lead grower for Max Farms, the shop’s supplier, they grow their cannabis in organic soil in Dandan.
Meyers said so far, KMintz, a 70% indica hybrid, has been what “everyone keeps asking about.”
“What’s crazy is [the effect] just depends on your mood sometimes,” Meyers said of his experience with KMintz. “It will get into your head…[or] sometimes it will make your body feel good. If it was a long day at work, it will take more effect on your body. If you’re just trying to have a good time, it will get into your mind and give you a good vibe.”
He likewise highlights Goldust, another indica dominant hybrid, adding that many of their customers have touted its potency.
Other top sellers so far include Night Moves, which according to leafly.com will have users feeling “tingly, focused, and happy”; and Code Red, which can make users feel “giggly, creative, and hungry.”
Meyers said half-a-gram prerolls cost between $5 and $7 depending on the strain.
Highgrade Dispensary has three tiers of pricing: low tier strains cost $8 per gram; mid-tier strains, $10 per gram; and high tier products, $12 per gram.
“We just try to grow products the best we can,” Meyers said. “We look at ourselves more as a boutique-style farm, so we’re always trying to make quality over quantity. But quantity will follow the quality once we start producing a lot.”
Meyers said Max Farms products are available on 10% discount, and customers will get a free EZ Trayz rolling tray while supplies last.
