Team Nesian Built’s Douglas Schmidt attempts to drive past a defender during an NMIBA Marianas Arsenal 3×3 Basketball Series game at the. Ada gym.
TEAM Nesian Built gunned down the Net Rippers, 21-9, in NMIBF Marianas Arsenal 3×3 Basketball Series at the Ada gym on Saturday.
Although TNB was missing their big man Jack Lizama due to injury, Coby Santos, Douglas Schmidt, and Preston Basa managed to hold their own and rode their way to the top against the Net Rippers’ Jeffrey Castro, Jack Aranda and Greg Sablan.
The lack of height was not an issue for TNB as their shooting range allowed them to stay in control. Santos ignited the run by scoring four points while Schmidt followed up with a volley of two-pointers. Basa then added another midway through the game.
The Net Rippers’ Castro and Sablan tried to equalize with two-pointers, but they failed to stop TNB from reaching game point, 21-9.
