5th Annual Wahoo in the Marianas set for March 23

A FISHING derby held for students by students, the Wahoo in the Marianas is back! The 5th Annual Wahoo in the Marianas is set for March 23, 2024 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Smiling Cove Marina.

Prizes are $2,000 for first place, $1,500 for second place, $1,000 for third place, and $500 for total weight (total weight of your three heaviest non-placing wahoo).

Registration will take place the day before, March 22, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Smiling Cove Marina. Fees are $200 per boat consisting of one captain and two anglers, and $30 for each additional angler.

The Wahoo in the Marianas is an annual fishing derby of the youth fishing nonprofit organization Tasi To Table. This derby is led and organized by TTT’s student members, and revenue generated from the derby will go toward TTT’s eight-month student program.
