THE CNMI Department of Labor, Workforce Investment Agency Division is announcing the closure of its satellite office at the Koblerville Youth Center. The office has provided access to job training, employment guidance, and other workforce development services.
Clients can direct inquiries on employment and job training opportunities to the division’s main office on Capital Hill or any of four other satellite locations:
• Main DOL-WIA office, Capital Hill
• San Vicente Youth Center
• Kagman Community Center
• Northern Marianas Technical Institute
• Carolinian Affairs Office
“The DOL WIA appreciates the community’s support and engagement with our Koblerville Youth Center satellite office, most especially the collaboration with the Youth Affairs Office under the leadership of Special Assistant Delbert Pua. Our decision is part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing the delivery of workforce services to better meet the needs of the community,” said Frances Torres, director of WIA.
DOL WIA regrets any inconvenience this closure brings to the community. However, workforce programs and services will continue through its other satellite offices.
