The Mariana Lighthouse’s Valentines Day special treat, Surf & Turf.
For those observing Ash Wednesday, which coincides with Valentine’s Day, Mariana Lighthouse offers a salmon plate.
MARIANA Lighthouse has updated its menu, extended its lunch hours, and reduced its prices.
The restaurant with a spectacular view on Fuetsa Loop, Upper Navy Hill will continue to offer the best dining experience, its general manager, Becky P. Cruz, said.
“We’ve changed our menu, but kept the most popular items,” she added.
On weekend nights, customers will continue to enjoy grilled boneless chicken combo, grilled chicken in stick combo, grilled pork ribs combo, grilled pork belly combo and grilled pork in stick combo.
Starting Feb. 1, Mariana Lighthouse will serve late lunch from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. amid a panoramic view of Saipan lagoon and a breathtaking sunset.
Also on the menu are a variety of delectable sushi rolls that include California roll, spicy tuna, tempura, crunchy roll, spicy salmon, baked tuna, baked salmon and jalapeno salmon.
Every Sunday, lunch is served from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Starting Saturday, Feb. 10, customers will enjoy the fun and excitement of Tuesday Night Market from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and an updated menu that includes sushi rolls, Japanese ramen, grilled meat, Mongolian delicacies and local favorites such as poke.
While savoring delicious food, you can also enjoy the musical performances of Baraha Band’s Raine.
On Valentine’s Day, Mariana Lighthouse will offer couples a special treat: Surf & Turf, which consists of juicy and flavorful ribeye steak and yummy lobster tail. It’s available in two sizes: big, which costs $58.50, and small for $35.
Also available on Valentine’s Day, which also happens to be Ash Wednesday, is a special salmon steak for $30 only. It’s for those who are observing the onset of the Lenten season. Both Surf & Turf and salmon plates come with a glass of wine.
With its comfortable and spacious dining areas, Mariana Lighthouse can also accommodate private parties and special occasions for families and friends.
The restaurant was originally a lighthouse built by the Japanese in the early 1930s. It was damaged during World War II but was repaired and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
In 1990, it was turned into a restaurant, which closed after a few years.
Bibong Corporation, led by Chief Executive Officer Bongheung Lee, took over the property in 2019. He saw its potential as a tourist destination that also serves high-quality food. Mariana Lighthouse opened on March 12, 2021.
