Man accused of raping teen girl

HAGÅTÑA (The Guam Daily Post) — A man was charged with several counts of first- and second-degree criminal sexual conduct after being accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl over the course of two years.

On Sept. 30, 2022, officers with the Guam Police Department met with a 15-year-old female who explained she had been sexually assaulted by Frankie Anthony Castro.

According to the magistrate’s complaint, Castro, 39, had been staying with the girl and her family at a Dededo residence when he first sexually assaulted her in November 2020 while she was asleep.

Castro allegedly put his hands inside the girl’s pants and would sexually assault her “every other day until January 2021,” the complaint stated.

The teen told police that in February 2021 Castro raped her and “put his hand over the victim’s mouth to keep the victim from screaming,” court documents state. The minor tried to resist and get away, but Castro continued to rape her and told her “that if she ever told anyone that he would kill the victim and her family,” the complaint stated.

“The defendant told the victim to clean everything up and left the room. The victim noticed she was bleeding. The victim states that the defendant would have forced sexual intercourse every week until July 2022, until social workers took the victim away from the residence,” the complaint stated.

“After around the fourth incident of forced sexual intercourse, the victim began to self-harm,” the complaint added.

The girl also indicated that throughout the same time period, Castro allegedly forced her to touch his private parts and forced her to perform oral sex once a month.

Castro was not apprehended until Monday. He told police, “I’ve been waiting for this day. … She said she was going to report it. I knew this day was coming,” the complaint stated.

Castro was charged with five counts each of first- and second-degree criminal sexual conduct as first-degree felonies.
