GPD seeks help in search for missing woman

HAGÅTÑA (The Guam Daily Post) — The Guam Police Department are seeking assistance in the search of a woman who was last seen on Dec. 21st.

On Wednesday the Guam Police Department issued a missing person’s flyer for 24-year-old Betty Diamond Katsuta, “who was last seen at her residence in Yigo on Dec. 21st, 2023.”

“Betty’s concerned mother, Bertha Katsuta, reported her missing on Dec. 23rd, 2023, after she failed to return home. Despite exhaustive efforts by family members to locate her through relatives and friends, Betty remains missing,” the flyer stated.

While patrol officers continue to search areas Betty Katsuta is known to frequent and make checks on reported sightings, GPD seeks the community’s assistance in locating her.

The flyer described Betty Katsuta as being 5’2” in height, 130 pounds with long black hair and brown eyes. She was last known to be wearing  a peach t-shirt, blue jeans and black Adidas running shoes.

“We are asking the assistance of the community in finding Betty. If you have any information or have seen Betty or know her whereabouts, please contact police dispatch at 671-475-8615 through 8617,” GPD stated.

“The Guam Police Department appreciates the support of the public and asks for their cooperation in sharing any information that could help reuniting Betty with her family,” GPD added.
